We’ve got a new cohort of emerging managers
At PathwayFund, our mission is to find, nurture, and catalyse the next generation of talented, overlooked fund managers. We believe that backing diverse investors isn't just a moral imperative – it's a proven strategy for generating outsized returns.
That's why we are incredibly proud to announce the new cohort for our Fund Manager Incubator (FMI 2.0).
After a rigorous selection process that saw 27 impressive applications and a multi-stage review involving a selection committee of Limited Partners, we have selected 3 teams who we believe are building the next top-tier firms, in UK venture.
🚀 Bae HQ Ventures: A pre-seed & seed fund dedicated to investing in technology-enabled businesses led by UK founders of Asian heritage, sourcing from their @BaeHQ community of over 10,000 members;
🚀 Blue Lake VC: A pre-seed & seed fund providing the first institutional capital to immigrant and refugee founders in the UK, building on the success of their active angel syndicate and @OasisLondon community; and
🚀 Evertrue Capital: A high conviction solo GP fund backing exceptional pre-seed founders before market consensus. Yvonne brings a decade of experience from top-tier funds like LocalGlobe, having previously backed four unicorns (e.g., Marshmallow and Moove).
Over the next six months, these managers will be provided £50,000 each to embark on an intensive journey. They’ll be working with industry experts, mentors, and our team, as they refine their strategy, build institutional-grade operations, and engage the market... all as they press forward to their first close.
A massive thank you to those who have played an integral role in getting this off the ground. Our sponsors – Joseph Rowntree Foundation, Friends Provident Foundation; GP Advisor – Andy Davis; the final LP selection committee – Anu Adebajo, Savitri Tan & Caroline English; as well as Special Adviser Rebekah Kasumu.
