Choosing Your Proposal Track

You can submit either an initial proposal or a detailed proposal, depending on your readiness.

Initial Proposal

Detailed Proposal

What is it?

What you provide

If Green/Amber: you co-develop a full detailed proposal with our team before resubmitting

Faster initial review; additional time needed for detailed stage

Pathway Fund Strategy 2026 - 2029

A full proposal with delivery approach, confirmed pipeline, and detailed budget

Organisations with a mature programme design, confirmed co-funders, and ready pipeline

Detailed pipeline approach, decision-making structure, client journey, learning approach, service providers

Same as initial, but with more detailed financial model

Approve, Conditionally approve, Defer, or Reject

If Approved: move directly to funding agreement

Single decision cycle; faster to funding if approved

Not sure which to choose?

If in doubt, start with an initial proposal. It's a lower-effort way to test your concept with the Committee, and if successful, our team will work with you to develop the full proposal.
