Welcome to our new Board members
The Board is pleased to welcome two new members to Pathway, both of whom join at a key point in our transition as an organisation.
Hamzah Sarwar
Following the departure of Seb Elsworth, Hamzah Sarwar joins the Board of Pathway. He also serves as a Trustee and Investment Committee member at Access – The Foundation for Social Investment. Hamzah is an executive leader with over 17 years’ experience building and scaling the global impact economy through capital mobilisation, cross‑sector partnerships and evidence‑driven innovation.
Most recently, as Global Head of Social Impact & Innovation at Reckitt, he led the organisation’s impact strategy and fund, deploying capital to expand equitable access to health and hygiene across 56 countries. He built the architecture needed for system‑level outcomes, aligning capital, capability and collaboration to drive community‑led change.
Hamzah added: “I’m excited to support Pathway’s mission and believe deeply in building the conditions where communities can shape and sustain their own solutions. I look forward to unlocking the potential of people and places that have long been underestimated.”
Syreeta Robinson-Gayle
Syreeta Robinson-Gayle is Head of Affordable Housing at Barratt London, where she is responsible for the strategic integration and delivery of affordable homes across the capital. Working at the intersection of housing policy, development economics and delivery, she shapes approaches that turn ambition into outcomes, ensuring that the vision is viable, fundable and scalable.
Syreeta has joined the Board because she believes in the difference high-quality affordable housing makes to people's lives. She hopes to contribute her practical delivery experience and sector insight to help Pathway turn its strategy into real impact.
Lord Hastings of Scarisbrick, Chair of Pathway, said:
"I am delighted to welcome Hamzah and Syreeta to the Board. Each brings exceptional experience and their expertise in mobilising capital, forming partnerships and delivering homes at scale could not be better suited to this moment in Pathway's journey. As we move through a period of significant change, their insight and challenge will be invaluable, and I look forward to working with them both."
