Selection Timeline

We invite prospective candidates to submit their applications by 19 January 2026.

After reviewing all submissions, we will invite shortlisted applicants to take part in two rounds of interviews, giving us the chance to understand their experience, values, and approach to decision‑making.

Our aim is to share final outcomes by 18 February 2026, allowing the successful candidate to join the Committee with clarity and momentum.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking an Independent Member to join Pathway’s Social Investment Committee - someone who brings both expertise and a thoughtful, grounded understanding of the communities we exist to serve.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of social investment in the UK, shaped by lived or learned experience at the intersection of the social economy, and racial equality.

We are looking for someone who has served on a grant or investment panel before, and who understands the responsibility that comes with stewarding resources intended to strengthen community‑led change.

Independence is essential to this role. Candidates must hold no conflicts of interest, and in particular must not represent any intermediary or fund manager intending to apply for Pathway funding.

We are committed to building a Committee that reflects the richness and diversity of the communities at the heart of our mission.

We therefore actively welcome applications from people of African and Caribbean heritage, and from Muslim communities, whose perspectives and experiences remain underrepresented in social investment leadership.

How to Apply

To apply, please send your CV and a one‑page cover letter to impact@pathwayfund.org.uk, using the subject line: ‘Application for Social Investment Committee Independent Member’.
