Fund Manager Incubator 2.0 - Applications Now Open
We are thrilled to announce the official launch of the Fund Manager Incubator (FMI) 2.0!
The UK venture capital ecosystem is missing out on incredible talent. First-time fund managers from Black and Ethnic Minority backgrounds face significant barriers to entry, from network exclusion to regulatory complexity. Just 3% of UK asset managers are Black (The Investment Association, 2024), and first-time fund managers from ethnic minority backgrounds face fundraising cycles that are 42% longer than their peers (British Business Bank, 2023).
We are committed to changing that.
FMI 2.0 is our proven, hands-on programme designed to find, fund, and support the next generation of diverse capital allocators. Building on the success of our first cohort, FMI 2.0 will provide a select group of 3 emerging fund manager teams with:
✅ A £50,000 unrestricted grant to build capacity*.
✅ An intensive 6-month programme of expert-led training and mentorship.
✅ Unparalleled access to a network of LPs, industry veterans, and peers.
If you are a first-time manager from a Black &/or Ethnic Minority background with a compelling investment thesis and a drive to make an impact, we want to hear from you.
Applications are now officially OPEN!
